Title: Finding Me

Gender: Female

Age: 33

Sun Sign: Gemini

Chinese Sign: Fire Dragon

Location: Vancouver, BC Canada

About Me:

I am a walking contradiction. I am both the highschool cheerleader and the band geek. I can be outrageously extraverted and then, in the next moment, stun myself by my shyness. I am a spiritual metaphysician who was raised by atheists. I am a Saskatchewan bred lass who can’t stand cowboy boots. I am a bookworm who enjoys shopping for lipgloss and a girlie girl who only takes ten minutes to get ready in the morning. Although I am a talker, I am an avid listener as well. My feminist family taught me to be tough, but deep down I am still waiting for the love of my life to pepper my pregnant belly with kisses. I am healed by the outdoors, but have no interest in the Grouse Grind or any other outdoor activity that might tear a hamstring and I love to eat, but am useless in the kitchen.

My oddities are as follows: I lindyhop, think brussel sprouts are yummy and don’t really care much how much money my partner makes as long as he can make me laugh. My former career involved fishnets, fake eyelashes and singing showtunes with herds of gay men. I don’t drink, smoke or do drugs for no other reason than I really just don’t wanna. I consider my ex’s some of the coolest, kindest men I have ever met and when I get in my car I always need my sun visor to be down, even when it isn’t sunny. I sleep on my tummy, like to stick my head underneath pillows and prefer showering at night. I am phobic of needles. I use to walk up to people in Safeway when I was a little girl and start singing Tomorrow from Annie at the top of my lungs to anyone who would listen …or get lost on purpose in the Woolco so that I could hear my name announced on the loud speaker from the customer service desk. I can’t stand seafood and I have a new, secret, budding passion for designing websites.

I am currently falling back in love with myself and have an awesome friendship with god…spirit…all that is…george…whatever you might want to call It. Life is good. And so it is.
